Get Up and Move!

It’s easy to get stuck in a sedentary lifestyle.

Especially when we are at home taking care of our loved ones.

It’s just as important to take care of ourselves so that we can be at our best for the people that rely on us.

I’ve been seeing a lot of people so caught up with work and family responsibilities that their bodies are paying for it.
I want to urge you to incorporate some more body movement into your day.

If this sounds like you, let’s break that trend.

It doesn’t have to be major exercise, even just going for a walk and stretching can go a long way.

When we spend too much time stationary, things can go awry.

We may gain wait, stress more, blood pressure can rise, joints get stiff and muscles get tight.

Not to mention, the brain thirsts for movement. Especially of the spine, from which huge amounts of information travel up nerves to the brain.

When we get up and move, mood improves, the mind clears, blood circulation and pressure improve, tight muscles and joints loosen and our metabolism gets a boost.

Get up and move!

Jumping jacks, yoga, a walk or jog, stretching, lifting, foam rolling, or any combination can help you bring more balance to your busy life.

A few minutes in the morning and evening is all it takes to start feeling the difference.
